well it could be damaging.But if you are getting it done by a professionally i would suggest a deep conditioning treatment . You should probably wait about a week if possible with some good reconstructing conditioner. Aussie makes one called 3 minute miracle.
because your hair can get overprocessed and break. it loses elasticity because the bleach takes the protein out of your hair and the hair cuticle is not smoothed down. time and treatment will decrease the chances of that happening. i would recommend treating your hair with a deep conditioning treatment. either at the salon, or at home. i recomend getting Biologe fortifying shampoo and cond. or Redkin extreme ';anti-snap';.

highlighting ur hair opens the follicle and strips the color from it leaving it raw and vulnerable. every washing makes it lighter and every day in full sun makes it lighter. why would u want to RE apply? trust me by end of summer u will wish u hadn't.
