okay well i guess i cant top that but i've had highlights and i loved them while they lasted but they fade and grow out so while they are pretty you either have to keep getting them highlighted or walk around with highlights on the bottom half of your hair.

highlights make u look tanner. but they get old and ugly fast. don't get them. The only people that should get highlights are people with light brown and dark blonde hair. They should get blonde highlights.

Bad: It's tacky.
If you get highlights that look natural, it makes it look like your hair really shines and has a natural glow to it.
If you want thicker streaks it gives your hair a funky, cool look.
Highlighting your hair can damage it since you are pretty much bleaching streaks of hair. Your hair can become frizzier and you are more likely to have split ends.
Also, highlights can be expensive and you have to make sure you keep up with getting them done or you can have terrible roots.
