I want to get my hair highlighted. Does anyone know a really good product to prevent fading?

Hi, to keep your highlights looking like you just had them done use the product called shimmer lights you can get it at Sally's Beauty supply stores.I want to get my hair highlighted. Does anyone know a really good product to prevent fading?
Well, the only advice I can give is that if you are getting your hair highlighted blonde, there's no need to prevent fading, since dyeing hair blonde is actually stripping the color out of your hair. ;)





I got my hair highlighted innn... February? January? And it's still as bright as ever. The red, however, completely faded. xPI want to get my hair highlighted. Does anyone know a really good product to prevent fading?
Buy something that's name brand, like Loreal. Don't buy some no-name stuff. I don't know that there will be dye that will necessarily prevent fading. But there is shampoo you can buy that will keep your color... fuller I guess you could say? You could actually probably find it for cheap at the grocery store. Good luck.
Redken has some good products to help color last longer. I can't think of the name right now. But it is similar to color extenders.
